Cabinet Maker/Laminator

We are seeking a skilled Cabinet Maker/Laminator to join our team at JJS Design and Build.

About the Role

As a Cabinet Maker/Laminator, you will be responsible for cutting, fabricating, and installing wooden cabinets and other structures according to specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpret shop drawings and blueprints to understand project requirements
• Measure and calculate material needs for each project
• Build, repair, and assemble cabinets, shelves, and drawers, and install them as designated
• Apply laminate and veneer, rout, and file as needed

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in woodworking and general assembly techniques
• Hands-on experience working with carpentry materials
• Excellent understanding of carpentry problem-solving techniques and methods of installation and construction
• Proficient in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools
• Ability to read technical documents and drawings
• Must be able to achieve results in an accurate and timely manner
• Effective communication skills
