Job Summary

As a Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist Homecare Specialist at Intermountain Healthcare, you will provide quality speech language pathology services to patients and families in the home, ensuring timely and thorough documentation of patient records consistent with agency standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide speech language pathology services to patients and families in the home, adhering to state licensure, laws, professional standards, and ethics.
  • Coordinate care with all disciplines involved, ensuring effective primary patient care coordination.
  • Develop and implement appropriate care plans and goals, adjusting and updating as needed.
  • Provide education to patients and families, consistently following established care plans.
  • Manage time, supplies, and equipment efficiently, meeting established productivity standards.

Requirements

  • Valid/current Utah Speech Language Pathology License.
  • Current driver's license, insured, reliable transportation, and acceptable driving record.
  • Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers.
  • Ability to access the Internet or a phone line transferring patient files twice a day.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Current certificate of clinical competence.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Infant feeding experience.
  • 1 year experience.

Physical Requirements:

Hearing/Listening, Manual Dexterity, Pulling/Pushing Seeing, Speaking.
