Job Summary:

Ryder is seeking a qualified Truck Driver CDL A to join our team. As a Solo Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods across the country, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining a safe and efficient operation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transport goods across the country, adhering to Ryder's safety and operational standards
  • Ensure timely delivery of goods, meeting customer expectations
  • Maintain accurate records and logs, adhering to regulatory requirements
  • Load and unload freight, or assist in the loading/unloading of freight as required by the customer
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management

Requirements:

  • Class A CDL with endorsements
  • Minimum 21 years of age
  • Pass a Ryder drug test, background check, and motor vehicle check
  • Pass a DOT physical
  • Ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
  • Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
