Nutrition Plant Operator Aqua Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Plant Operator to join our team at Wilbur-Ellis. As a Plant Operator, you will be responsible for assisting in the production of aquaculture feed products and ensuring the quality of our products. You will also be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the facility and performing various tasks as needed.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the production of aquaculture feed products
- Inspect all materials for cleanliness and integrity
- Document all aspects of job duties
- Learn and train on all roles needed at the plant
- Operate processing equipment as outlined in SOPs
- Maintain facility cleanliness throughout all operations
- Perform Quality Control while handling products
- Accurately document tasks performed
- Report safety/food safety problems to management
- Maintain all current training
- Comply with all Food Safety Guidelines, Standard Operating Procedures, FDA and OSHA guidelines, and Federal and State workplace laws
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience required
- Willingness to operate material handling equipment, including forklift and other equipment, as required
- Must be able to lift to 50 lbs
- Manual dexterity requires being on your feet for long periods and working in a production environment
- Ability to follow written and verbal directions and complete the necessary documentation
- Ability to read and write English is required
- Willing to work overtime hours as needed

- Strong sense of integrity and accountability
- Great Attendance
- In compliance with all states and cities requiring transparency of pay, the base compensation for this position ranges from $21.28/hr. Wages may vary based on location, skills, and experience
- This position is eligible for many benefits, such as vacation, holidays, health, dental, vision, mental health, and retirement plan participation, including an employer contribution of up to 7% into your 401(k)
