We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Perishable Representative to join our team at H-E-B. As a Perishable Representative, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a well-stocked and well-maintained department, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Provide superior customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Prepare, package, and merchandise fresh product on a daily basis, maintaining all department and food safety/sanitation standards.
- Stock and rotate product to ensure freshness, and communicate product knowledge to customers by explaining and providing samples.
- Assist in technical areas as needed, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum age 18 (mandatory).
- Completion of Company Orientation and Safety Training.
- Strong customer service skills, communication and interpersonal skills, reading and writing skills, and planning and organizing skills.
This role requires the ability to function in a fast-paced, retail environment, with frequent standing, walking, and reaching. The Perishable Representative will be exposed to wet, cold conditions, and occasional hot conditions, ambient temperatures, and loud noise. The ability to lift 90 lbs and manage in excess of 90 lbs is required.
