Data Scientist/Machine Learning Engineer

As a Data Scientist/Machine Learning Engineer, you will work closely with the business and development team to capture requirements across multiple business segments and functionalities. This role requires an extensive understanding of coding standards and implementing them in Cardinal Health's applications.
Apart from this, any activity related to hypercare and rollbacks needs to be confirmed by this role to other teams.
As an expert in Java Full Stack, you must have a well-understood architecture to give appropriate instructions to the Dev team, work with external teams like Kafka, Postgres, Boomi to help them get their code aligned with the new application.
Help the team follow the process and priority for implementation. Assign work to Dev teams and work with the Scrum Master to help with the priority of cards.- Experience working with Generative AI and LLM-based solutions
- Experience delivering products in multimodal-LLMs/Foundation models, Machine Learning (Client), or related areas
- Experience working with RAG technologies such as LLM frameworks (Langchain and LLamaIndex), LLM model registries (Hugging Face), LLM APIs, embedding models, prompting techniques (Chain of Thought, ReACT, etc.), and vector databases.
- Experience in building end-to-end Client pipelines from data ingestion, feature engineering, model training, deploying, and scaling the model in production
- Experience in model training, model evaluation, model optimization, Client system architecture design, and scalable Client model deployment
- Build large-scale batch and real-time data pipelines with data processing frameworks like Scio, Google Cloud Platform, and the Apache Beam
- Proficiency in Python and relevant libraries for machine learning such as scikit-learn and Pandas, as well as Jupyter Notebooks.
- Experience in building solutions for AI/Client services and platforms with models in production, Client Ops, CI/CD automation of Client pipelines in a cloud-based environment e.g., (GCP)
- Experience interacting with REST APIs and microservices
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker) and orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes) for scalable and efficient model deployment.
- Implement delivery of architecture patterns that effectively leverage data foundation assets and incorporate API-led designs
- Build, execute, and support the implementation of new technologies and API functionality across the organization
- Familiarity with API management platforms like APIGee
- Working understanding of software engineering patterns, solutions architecture, information architecture, and security architecture with an emphasis on Client/GenAI implementations
- Partner and contribute to AI Client projects with cross-functional teams to deliver advanced analytics/machine learning solutions
- Work across diverse teams, perspectives, and opinions and quickly build consensus
- Create visualizations of data that make distributions, trends, and results easy to understand for business stakeholders
