Job Summary

Cerenity Senior Care is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Facilities Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform daily inspections and document operating parameters of major HVAC systems.
  • Maintain operation of plumbing systems, water quality, and document water temperatures as required.
  • Maintain and repair boilers at campuses that utilize boilers.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of electrical distribution systems and perform service work within capabilities.
  • Contact outside vendors as required for repairs.
  • Perform general building maintenance and construction work as needed.
  • Inspect patient/resident areas as requested.
  • Perform grounds maintenance, including lawn care and snow removal.
  • Perform general repairs to facility and resident equipment.
  • Arrange for repair by outside source when required.
  • Operate numerous hand and power tools, and various grounds and maintenance equipment safely.
Requirements
  • Associate's Degree in the Building Maintenance field; or High School Diploma/GED and two (2) or more years of building maintenance experience.
  • Possess or have ability to obtain a minimum of a Special boiler's license for campuses utilizing boilers.
  • Valid Driver's License as appropriate and acceptable driving record that meets Benedictine requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certification/License as required by Federal, State and local requirements.
  • Experience in a health care setting.
