We are seeking a skilled Therapeutic Support Specialist to join our team of professionals dedicated to providing exceptional speech therapy services. The successful candidate will work in consultation with the Area Speech Language Pathologist to deliver effective therapeutic support across multiple school locations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate students within designated programs to determine therapeutic needs and appropriate levels of service.
  • Provide assistance to the SLP during assessments, including formal documentation, preparing materials, and performing clinical duties.
  • Conduct speech-language screening, without interpretation, using protocols developed by the Area SLP.
  • Provide direct speech and language therapy assistance to students under the direction of the Area SLP, employing evidence-based strategies and techniques to improve communication skills and overall development.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in speech pathology or a closely related field of study.
  • Hold currently or have the ability to obtain a state speech language pathology assistant (SLPA) certification.
  • A valid state driver's license is required for travel between locations.
  • Prior experience and/or knowledge in special education services and compliance, particularly for students with autism-related disabilities and emotional disturbance.
