Position Summary:

This role is primarily responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of the property’s grounds.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform maintenance and care of all outdoor areas, including lawns, pathways, flower beds, shrubs, and trees.
  • Operate various vehicles and powered equipment such as mowers, tractors, and utility vehicles.
  • Utilize hand tools effectively for landscaping tasks.
  • Ensure proper care, watering, and nutrients are provided to all plants and vegetation.
  • Apply fertilizers, herbicides, or insecticides as needed.
  • Maintain sidewalks, driveways, parking areas, and other features.
  • Prune shrubs and trees to promote healthy growth.
  • Assist in the maintenance of irrigation and drainage systems.
  • Remove debris and ensure the cleanliness of the grounds.
  • Participate in training sessions to stay informed about landscaping innovations.
  • Perform other assigned duties as required.

Qualifications:

To succeed in this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:

Education and Experience:

A high school diploma AND three to six months of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

A valid driver's license is required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Demonstrated knowledge of machines and tools, effective communication skills, and the ability to follow instructions accurately. Candidates must possess the physical and mental capabilities to meet the demands of the role.

Physical and Mental Requirements:

The employee must be able to see and hear effectively, walk, speak, stand, kneel, and lift moderately heavy objects. Specific vision capabilities are required, and exposure to outdoor conditions is expected.
