Key Responsibilities- Perform a variety of maintenance and repair tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, battery replacements, and suspension alignments.
- Conduct state-required vehicle emissions and safety inspections in compliance with regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to address customer concerns efficiently.
- Complete thorough and accurate vehicle inspections.
- Ensure all preventive maintenance documentation is precise and comprehensive.
- Adhere to federal, state, and local regulations affecting service operations.
- Assist with housekeeping duties as directed by management.
- Communicate effectively with the service department regarding vehicle issues.
- Uphold high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization in the workplace.
- Valid driver's license.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Automotive Technician/Mechanic.
- Ability to perform general service, maintenance, and minor repairs.
- Desire to learn and advance in a mechanical service career.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude.
- Ability to lift and/or move over 50 pounds occasionally.
- Capable of working with tools on elevated vehicles.
- Comfortable working in confined spaces as needed.
- Dexterity to efficiently use hand tools.
- Ability to stand or walk for most of the workday.
- Experience driving manual transmission vehicles.
- Ability to maintain a brisk pace in a high-volume environment.
- Proficient in navigating computer systems.
