As an Ambulatory Medical Practitioner, your key responsibilities will include:
  • Providing direct patient care through interview and observation, evaluation and assessment, intervention, planning, and written documentation.
  • Taking initial patient histories and performing physical examinations.
  • Initiating, documenting, and communicating the plan of care and following up to ensure complete screening and preparation of patients.
  • Performing daily patient rounds.
  • Writing orders for medications, laboratory work, and diagnostic tests.
  • Interpreting laboratory and test results.
  • Conferring with attending physicians, residents, nursing staff, and/or other care providers to ensure optimum quality of patient care.
