Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Aircraft Component Fabrication Specialist to join our team at Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation. As a key member of our repair station, you will be responsible for repairing and overhauling internal and external aircraft assemblies, subassemblies, and components in accordance with Gulfstream Repair Station requirements.

About the Role

This is a full-time position that requires moderate supervision and involves working on complex mechanical and electrical systems. You will apply your skills in procedures, techniques, tools, materials, and equipment to perform repairs, set up test equipment, inspect parts, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Key Responsibilities
  • Repair and overhaul aircraft assemblies, subassemblies, and components according to blueprints, component maintenance manuals, and authorized maintenance data.
  • Set up, maintain, and operate test equipment to perform functional and operational tests of mechanical and electrical aircraft components.
  • Inspect detail parts using blueprints, component and/or overhaul manuals, and other required maintenance data to ensure conformity requirements are met.
  • Demonstrate effective repair techniques using acceptable practices, including troubleshooting, soldering, and application of protective coatings.
Requirements
  • Able to interpret blueprints, engrg docs, and use precision measuring tools.
  • Proficient operation of all tools/equipment in the department, including glass bead & carboblast machines.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or 2+ years of experience in a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
  • CNC machining background is a plus.
  • Ability to read most machine shop measuring instruments.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
