Job Summary: Responsible for delivering meal carts to various units and serving trays to patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver and collect meal trays for patients.
  • Return used trays to the kitchen.
  • Perform various kitchen tasks, including sanitation and setup.
  • Address patient inquiries and assist with food service needs.
  • Introduce meal service options to patients in a compassionate manner.
  • Guide patients in selecting meals based on their dietary requirements.
  • Assemble trays accurately according to patient orders.
  • Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure dietary needs are met.
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

Education: Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare staff. Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English is required. Previous experience in a healthcare food service environment is preferred.
