Position Overview:
An established global manufacturing firm is seeking a dedicated Production Assistant Manager. The successful candidate will possess a strong management background with experience overseeing production lines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise production lines and manage team members for each line.
  • Monitor production processes and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Conduct training and enforce discipline among employees.
  • Ensure the team is effectively executing the department's development strategy.
  • Oversee daily operations and address any arising issues (service, quality, cost, etc.).
  • Prepare and coordinate departmental budget.
  • Plan for new model introductions.
  • Create schedules to fulfill operational needs.
  • Perform additional tasks as required.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 4 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably within automotive or industrial sectors.
  • Associate's Degree or higher in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related discipline, along with equivalent experience.
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles and mechanical skills.
  • Knowledge of TPS and Kaizen methodologies.
  • Strong leadership, goal-oriented mindset, analytical skills, and strategic thinking.
  • Excellent communication abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

This role is situated within a manufacturing setting.

While performing the duties of this position, candidates may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 40 pounds, and use hands to handle or feel parts/equipment.

Vision capabilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision.
