About the JobWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Recreation Seasonal Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong passion for basketball and excellent communication skills.
Job SummaryThe Recreation Seasonal Specialist will be responsible for officiating adult basketball games in the City of Manhattan's Parks and Recreation Department. This is a seasonal position that runs from February to April 2025.
Key Responsibilities- Officiate basketball games with integrity and fairness
- Work with supervisory staff to ensure accurate setup and teardown of playing surfaces
- Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a positive attitude
- Establish and maintain cooperative professional relationships with colleagues and supervisors
- Ability to learn NFHS Basketball rules and mechanics
- Knowledge of NFHS rules and officiating mechanics and signals
The estimated salary for this position is $30.00/hour. We offer a competitive compensation package and opportunities for growth and development.
