About the Role:
This is a unique opportunity to work with a variety of clients, each with their own needs and circumstances. You will be responsible for performing basic care activities, such as dressing, grooming, bathing, feeding, and taking vital signs. You will also assist with toileting, oral care, nail care, catheter care, and other essential tasks to ensure our clients' comfort and well-being.
Responsibilities:
* Assist nurses with various basic care activities
* Perform tasks such as dressing, grooming, bathing, feeding, and taking vital signs
* Assist with toileting, oral care, nail care, catheter care, and other essential tasks
* Clean rooms and change bed linen
* Take and record temperature, pulse, and respiration rate
* Give medication as directed by Physician or Nurse and make notation of amount and time given
Requirements:
* Minimum age requirement of 18 years
* Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record
* Certification as a CNA or Home Health Care Aide in the state where you will provide care
* Completion of a recognized home care aide training program or 6 months of recent experience as an aide
* Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and utilize proper body mechanics
