Compensation Details
Weekly pay of $2,600

Role Responsibilities
The primary responsibility of a cardiac catheterization lab nurse involves utilizing the heart catheterization device. This instrument is inserted into the heart's arteries to diagnose various cardiac conditions and may also be used for treatment purposes. Additionally, these nurses assist physicians in the implantation of pacemakers and defibrillators for patients experiencing heart-related issues. They play a crucial role in supporting doctors during procedures such as angioplasties, valvuloplasties, stent placements, and other catheterization interventions.

Essential Qualifications
Mandatory Onboarding Requirements
  • BLS Certification
  • Cardiac Cath Lab RN Certification
  • Skills in Cath Lab Nursing
  • Core Mandatory Part II (Nursing)
  • Medication Error Prevention Training
  • Pharmacology for RNs
