Diagnostic Imaging Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at Advocate Aurora Health. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for operating CT equipment to perform diagnostic procedures, obtaining medical history from patients, and positioning patients for optimal imaging results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate CT equipment to perform basic to advanced diagnostic procedures
  • Obtain medical history from patients and compare requisitions to physicians' orders
  • Position patients and select proper scanning factors to attain accurate images
  • Provide radiation protection and safety in accordance with regulatory agencies
  • Maintain records and enter patient and study information into the radiology information system
Requirements:
  • Radiographer license issued by the state of Wisconsin
  • Registered Technologist (RT) registration issued by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • Computed Tomography (CT) registration issued by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) within 18 months
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) within 6 months
