Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of software solutions for AWS storage servers and devices.
  • Collaborate with engineers across the company to design and build system-level software at scale.
  • Develop automation software that spans multiple teams and organizations.
  • Design and build monitoring tools and metrics to ensure hardware is running properly in test and production environments.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience deploying and operating in a Linux/Unix environment.
  • 5+ years of programming experience with modern languages such as C++, Java, Python, or Golang.
  • 5+ years of professional software development experience.
  • Strong understanding of OS internals, particularly storage subsystems in a Linux-based environment.
  • Demonstrated experience building and troubleshooting device drivers for Linux on ARM and x86.
