Your Role:
We are in search of an enthusiastic individual with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction to fulfill the role of a Nutritional Services Attendant within our assisted living facility. The ideal candidate will possess a sincere interest in elder care and will be skilled in fostering positive relationships with both staff and residents. A proactive approach to fulfilling responsibilities and a dedication to achieving the goals of our facility are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare dining areas and ensure that workstations are organized and presentable.
- Take meal orders and deliver food and beverages with courtesy and professionalism.
- Clear tables during and after meal service efficiently.
- Provide information and answer questions regarding menu selections.
- Transport food items to and from designated areas as required.
- Handle non-food items as necessary to support dining operations.
- Adhere to sanitation, hygiene, and safety protocols at all times.
- Contribute to maintaining high standards of service for residents and their visitors.
- Assist with dishwashing and the distribution of clean tableware when needed.
- Uphold personal hygiene standards and comply with the dress code of the department.
- Complete all assigned cleaning duties diligently.
- Ensure that work areas and equipment are kept in safe and sanitary conditions.
- Participate in training and educational sessions as required.
- Execute specific tasks and responsibilities as directed by the supervisor.
