Eliot's Early Intervention Program seeks a skilled Physical Therapist to provide part-time services to children from birth to three years of age. The ideal candidate will have experience working with infants and young children, and be familiar with the principles of early childhood development.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of children's physical development and create personalized treatment plans to address any delays or challenges.
  • Provide hands-on intervention in areas such as postural control, mobility, and muscle tone, as well as assist with adaptive device and prosthesis needs.
  • Collaborate with families and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless service delivery and maximize child growth and development.
  • Develop and maintain accurate records of client progress and treatment plans, adhering to Department of Public Health and Eliot protocols.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay current with best practices in early intervention and physical therapy.

Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Physical Therapy or related field.
  • Experience working with infants and young children, preferably in an early intervention setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with families and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to all relevant statutes and regulations.
