Demolition Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Demolition Specialist to join our team at Restoration 1 of Charlottesville/Staunton. As a key member of our restoration team, you will assist lead technicians in serving our customers during emergency situations involving water, fire, mold, and/or sewage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist lead technicians with entry-level restoration tasks, including water extraction, selective demolition, and restoration cleaning.
• Communicate effectively with customers, employees, and trade partners.
• Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to safety guidelines and protocols.
• Ensure company-owned vehicles, equipment, tools, and supplies are properly handled and maintained.
• Document and photograph job sites according to IICRC S500 standards and company policies.

Requirements:

• High school degree or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
• Pass background check.
• Excellent customer service skills and communication.
• Experience with mobile software programs and devices.
• Professional work ethic, including punctuality, dependability, and a clean appearance.
• Experience in restoration or construction industry preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift, carry, and/or move heavy objects, work in tight areas, and wear a full-face respirator.
