About the Role: We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at TravelCenters of America. As a key member of our restaurant team, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality food to our guests.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook a variety of menu items to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment, maintaining a clean and safe workspace.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless service and excellent customer satisfaction.
  • Participate in menu planning and development, suggesting new ideas and recipes to enhance our offerings.
  • Maintain accurate inventory and ordering of ingredients and supplies.
  • Adhere to all food safety and handling procedures, ensuring the health and well-being of our guests.

Requirements:

  • Previous cooking experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Knowledge of food safety and handling procedures.
