Salary and Compensation

The expected base rate for this role is between $28.40 per hour and $32.40 per hour. In addition to competitive pay, drivers will also receive overtime compensation and a retention bonus.

Job Description

The primary responsibilities of a Class A Truck Driver include:

  • Safely driving trucks to customers and meeting scheduled delivery times
  • Carefully unloading products from the trailer and placing them in designated customer storage areas
  • Verifying accuracy of delivery with customers and obtaining proper signatures
  • Handling collections and payments from customers when applicable
  • Providing professional customer service to enhance the client experience
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful as a Class A Truck Driver, you must possess:

  • A valid CDL Class A issued by the state of legal residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications
  • At least six months commercial driving experience (any industry) or three months commercial driving experience in the food and/or beverage delivery industry
  • Ability to operate manual transmission (may be required in specific locations)
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to read and write in English
