The Food Service Worker is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the highest quality of food preparation and presentation in our dining facilities. Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve meals to clients in a safe and sanitary manner
  • Set up and maintain serving lines, including gathering utensils, food, and supplies
  • Assist cooks with food preparation, including opening cans, slicing and chopping food items, and making beverages
  • Clean and disinfect food preparation and serving areas, including tables, counters, and equipment
  • Perform all phases of the dishwashing process
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, including using automated information systems and computer software
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience in food service or a related field preferred
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time
