Job Title: Residential and Commercial Guardian

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Residential and Commercial Guardian to join our team at Apex Sentry Inc. As a Residential and Commercial Guardian, you will play a vital role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Patrolling and securing assigned residential and commercial premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of work rules as well as identifying risks to the client.
• Inspecting doors, windows, and gates to ensure proper function and security.
• Communicating premise rules and regulations to personnel.
• Reporting any facility issues such as fire/safety hazards, malfunctioning doors/gates, etc.
• Requesting emergency personnel for high-risk situations such as persons engaged in suspicious or criminal activity.
• Monitoring personnel flow & surveillance cameras and inspecting property.
• Escorting discharged personnel, trespassers, and other unwelcome parties off the premises.
• Representing Apex Sentry with a professional appearance and demeanor.

Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license with an excellent driving record.
• Ability to work every Saturday and Sunday during the assigned shift time.
• Ability to handle the physical demands of the job, e.g., able to stand or patrol on foot for long periods of time in all weather conditions.
• Minimum of 6 months previous security experience, law enforcement, or other related fields.
• Familiarity with security equipment.
• Excellent attention to detail - 100% accuracy for all paperwork/reports.
• Strong situational awareness and observational skills.
• Ability to speak clearly with authority while remaining calm and respectful in high-pressure situations.
• Pass a State & Federal criminal background search. No felonies.
• Complete an unarmed or armed security guard training course for the state of Georgia.

Salary: $45,000 per year
