About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Architect II to join our team at Clark Nexsen. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality architectural projects that meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and development of architectural projects, including investigation, evaluation, and recommendation of design solutions.
  • Provide professional architectural consultation in the planning, design, and coordination of large complex projects.
  • Apply advanced architectural concepts and designs to deliver innovative and sustainable solutions.
  • Collaborate with project teams during project design phases, including programming, concept development, schematic design, design development, and construction documentation.
  • Develop design sketches, renderings, models, graphics, presentation materials, analysis, and construction drawings and schedules.
  • Participate in the bidding and construction administration of projects, including jobsite visits, review of submittals, and responding to contractor questions.
  • Communicate and engage with a wide variety of stakeholders, including clients, owners, users, team members, consultants, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
Requirements
  • Professional degree from an NAAB accredited Architecture program.
  • 6+ years of professional experience.
  • Must be a fully licensed Architect in at least one US state.
  • Additional accreditations supporting the firm's commitment to design and continued personal growth (LEED AP, WELL, etc.) will be given special consideration.
  • Physical model building experience is strongly preferred.
  • Excellent graphic, drawing, and presentation capabilities.
  • Exposure to environmental analysis applications such as Climate Studio, Sefaira, Insight360, and Lady Bug/Honeybee is a plus.
