Establish a career in cutting-edge research at The University of Miami/UHealth Department of The Miami Project. We are seeking a highly motivated Full Time Clinical Research Scientist to work at UHealth Medical Campus.

Job Summary

The Clinical Research Scientist performs advanced scientific research and studies under the supervision of managing staff. Key responsibilities include developing innovative approaches for neuromotor recovery after brain and spinal cord injury, operating and maintaining neuromodulation equipment, and performing clinical research experiments and assessments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conducts research on specific areas of study as assigned.
  • Develops advanced analytical models and systems and provides solutions and analyses to support strategic and tactical decisions.
  • Assists with publishing research findings under the supervision of the Principal Investigator.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Ph.D. degree in biomedical engineering, neuroscience, kinesiology, or a related field is required.
  • Prior technical experience with laboratory equipment for human neurophysiology and computer programming experience with Matlab is advantageous.
  • Effective time management, strong project management, ability to communicate clearly and concisely both written and verbally, and ability to work as part of a team or independently.
Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000-$80,000 per year, based on experience. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, tuition remission and more.
