Mathematics Educator

We are seeking a highly qualified and dedicated Mathematics Educator to join our team at Dalhart Independent School District. As a Mathematics Educator, you will be responsible for providing students with a high-quality education in mathematics and coaching them to develop the skills and abilities necessary to excel in their academic and athletic pursuits.

• Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the requirements of the district's curriculum program and demonstrate a commitment to student learning.
• Conduct assessments of student learning styles and use the results to plan instructional activities that cater to individual needs.
• Collaborate with other members of the staff to determine instructional goals, objectives, and methods that align with district requirements.
• Manage student behavior in accordance with the Student Code of Conduct and student handbook.
• Compile, maintain, and file all reports, records, and other documents required by the district.
• Establish and maintain a professional relationship with parents, students, colleagues, and community members.
• Comply with state, district, and school regulations and policies for classroom teachers.

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements or training for the subject and level assigned.

• Knowledge of the core academic subject area assigned.
• Knowledge of curriculum and instruction.
• Ability to instruct students and manage their behavior.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge in High School Athletics.
