This is a well-established tertiary/quaternary care health system with ENT divisions including fellowship-trained Head & Neck Surgeons and Complex Pediatric ENT.
**Key Highlights:**

- 80% outpatient, 20% inpatient
- Weekday call (on own patients) / Weekend call is 1:10 / ER call is 1:14

**Qualifications:**
- BE/BC physician in General ENT
- MI license
- Interest in Otology preferred, but not mandatory
**Responsibilities:**
- Assesses and monitors the medical needs of patients/significant others
- Provides quality medical services to patients in a cost-effective, appropriate manner and ensures coverage of case load at all times
- Provides input into the development of policies and procedures as they relate to medical practice and quality patient care
- Provides oversight of Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners and others providing delegated services to patients
- Evaluates patients'/significant others'/staff educational needs and develops and implements appropriate teaching strategies or delegates to appropriate resources
- Documents in a manner consistent with regulatory standards
- Communicates with other members of the health care team in order to ensure continuity of care and coordination of services. Acts as a patient/family advocate
- Participates in ongoing process improvement activities through the development/application of clinical paths, process improvement and other related activities
**Requirements:**
- Required Bachelor's Degree
- LIC-Physician (MD) - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required Or
- LIC-Osteopathic Physician (DO) - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required
- CRT-DEA Registration - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association 120 Days required Or
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross 120 Days required
- CRT-Adv Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - AHA American Heart Association If required by specialty or stress test performed 120 Days required
