We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Cleaning Technician to join our team at Gateway Rehab, a leading provider of addiction treatment services. As a Cleaning Technician, you will play a critical role in maintaining a clean and healthy environment for our employees, visitors, and clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and Sanitize Facilities: Clean and sanitize assigned areas, including restrooms, break rooms, offices, hallways, and public spaces.
  • Maintain Floors and Surfaces: Sweep, mop, vacuum, and clean floors, carpets, and hard surfaces.
  • Manage Waste and Recycling: Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste according to facility procedures.
  • Dust and Clean Surfaces: Dust and clean windows, mirrors, desks, furniture, and other surfaces.
  • Stock and Maintain Supplies: Stock and maintain cleaning supplies and equipment in designated areas.
  • Report Maintenance Needs: Report any maintenance or repair needs, including broken fixtures, plumbing, or lighting issues.
  • Follow Health and Safety Regulations: Follow all health and safety regulations, including the proper use of cleaning chemicals and tools.
  • Ensure Compliance: Ensure compliance with company cleanliness and sanitation policies.
  • Assist with Special Projects: Assist with special cleaning projects as needed, such as deep cleaning, window washing, or carpet shampooing.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience: Previous experience as a cleaning technician, janitor, or in a similar role is preferred but not required.
Work Environment
  • Work Setting: Drug and alcohol rehab facility.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Ability to stand, walk, and bend for prolonged periods of time.
  • Exposure to Chemicals: Work may involve exposure to cleaning chemicals, dust, and dirt.
  • Flexibility: Flexibility in working hours, including nights and weekends, may be required.
