ENT and Allergy Associates of Florida is seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant/Scribe to join our team.
Responsibilities- Provide exceptional patient care and support to our ENT and Allergy specialists.
- Assist with in-office procedures, medical terminology, and strong typing skills for scribing.
- Manage a high volume of incoming patients, multitask, and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Collaborate with our dynamic team to provide comprehensive general and subspecialty ENT medical and surgical care.
- Minimum one-year HANDS ON Medical Assistant and Medical Scribe experience.
- Current certification or willingness to participate and pass our in-house training course and state test.
- Comfortable assisting with surgical procedures and working knowledge of medical terminology.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a clear speaking voice, and strong interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills, ability to interact professionally with patients, physicians, and team members, and EMR experience.
- Strong computer literacy and bi-lingual skills are a plus.

The position requires coordination, manual, and physical dexterity to properly use medical equipment and office equipment. The incumbent must be able to assist patients in transferring from a wheelchair to an exam chair, when necessary, and lift up to 25 pounds. We will make reasonable accommodations for qualified individuals with disabilities if needed to perform the essential functions of the job.
