Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team at the Good Samaritan Society. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a physical therapist to assist patients with therapy activities and exercises scheduled in a treatment plan.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist patients with therapy activities and exercises as scheduled in a treatment plan.
  • Monitor and record therapy services provided to patients.
  • Contribute to the development of therapy plans and interventions.
  • Communicate with physical therapists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care.
  • Provide documentation and information related to patient outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Appropriate education level required in accordance with state licensure.
  • Graduate of an approved American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) program as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
  • Licensed as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state(s) of practice.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within six months of employment.
