Position Overview

Join our team in supporting the development, advancement, and sustainment of weapon systems for the U.S. Space Force and its mission partners. You'll work with experienced personnel who understand the environments of ground, near-space, space, and systems operating in those environments to meet current and projected strategic, operational, and tactical needs for the Department of Defense.

Responsibilities
  1. Provide computer and network systems engineering and technical advice for projects and programs, supporting program acquisition efforts for advanced technology, future concept development, and integration activities.
  2. Support the revision or drafting of JCIDS and acquisition documentation, including Initial Capability Documents, Analysis of Alternatives, Concept of Operations, Technical/Systems Requirement Documents, Technical Evaluations, and System Specifications.
  3. Provide inputs and support on technical and/or programmatic status reporting of individual projects, programs, or portfolios.
  4. Identify areas of improvement with actionable, feasible recommendations and tasks for reducing risk, and support risk identification, process definition, and detailed technical risk mitigation plans.
  5. Maintain awareness of current program schedule, monitor acquisition implementation, report requirement shortfalls, and provide program assessments based on identified risks.
  6. Advise the Government program manager on technical engagements, including technical interchange meetings, design reviews, program conferences, and other informational meetings.
  7. Maintain a broad awareness and understanding of all programs and technology development efforts in execution across the applicable portfolio, and assist integrated product teams and working groups.
  8. Provide technical and operational insight to support mission protection, operations, and mission data assessments, and recommend viable solutions for technical anomalies.
  9. Provide recommendations regarding cyber activities, including techniques, packets, and mission partner responsibilities.
  10. Maintain awareness of Authority to Operate, Authority to Test, Authority to Connect, and Interim Authorities, and support cyber testing and assessment activities.
Required Qualifications
  1. Subject matter level expertise in computer networks, network protocols, and network architecture.
  2. Experience integrating and engineering cybersecurity into mission systems.
  3. Experience developing cyber tools for use by cyber operators.
  4. Experience with modern C5ISRT systems in the DoD.
  5. Excellent communication, interpersonal, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  6. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple competing priorities.
  7. Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  8. Ability to identify and solve problems.
  9. Bachelors Degree.
  10. 5+ years of relevant experience.
  11. TS/SCI Eligibility.
Preferred Qualifications
  1. Experience with Air Force, Space Force, and/or Space Systems Command preferred.
  2. Master Degree.
  3. 10+ years of relevant experience.
