Job Summary:

The Physical Therapist Assistant will work under the supervision of a Registered or Licensed Physical Therapist to provide skilled physical therapy services to patients in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) or long-term care (LTC) setting.

Responsibilities:
  • Implement and modify patient physical therapy plans of treatment under the supervision of a Registered or Licensed Physical Therapist.
  • Provide skilled physical therapy services, including massages, electrical stimulation, paraffin baths, hot and cold packs, traction, and ultrasound.

  • Work effectively with patients to achieve optimal outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree from an accredited school.
  • Current state license as a Physical Therapist Assistant or in the process of obtaining licensure.
  • Current CPR certification.
