Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Massage Therapist to join our team at Amara By The Sea. As a Massage Therapist, you will provide therapeutic massage treatments to clients, tailoring your approach to their individual needs and health goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a variety of massage and body treatments
  • Educate clients on the services and products offered, as well as the therapeutic benefits of regular massage therapy
  • Maintain accurate records of each session
  • Schedule, confirm, and cancel appointments
  • Build relationships with clients to assist them in meeting their wellness goals
  • Ensure a clean and safe facility
  • Comply with all applicable standards, rules, and regulations
Requirements
  • Hold a current state license to practice massage therapy
  • Be willing to learn new modalities and continue training
  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Be strongly service-oriented with the ability to communicate effectively with clients in a one-on-one setting
  • Have a high level of ethics and integrity
  • Be passionate about helping people look and feel their best
  • Be certified in Swedish, therapeutic, deep tissue, and hot stones massage modalities
  • Have at least 2 years of experience
  • Have some experience with sales
  • Be a team player
  • Have good time-management skills
  • Have great interpersonal and communication skills
  • Be customer-oriented, friendly but professional
  • Have a positive attitude and patience
