Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare quotations and assist sales staff in winning orders, utilizing information provided by the sales team.
  • Work closely with the Engineering Department to properly define and communicate product offerings, including performance criteria and customer specifications.
  • Gather and organize necessary documentation, scan it into the Scan folders, and create the Order file.
  • Enter orders into the Global Shop ERP system and review sales orders for completeness and correctness.
  • Ability to work effectively with difficult and challenging situations, with strong time management and organization skills.
  • Work closely with the Marketing Manager to maintain the CRM database regarding quotation activity, cost, price, and quoted lead time for each opportunity.
  • Take incoming parts orders, work with customers to determine the appropriate part, quote pricing, write purchase orders, and provide information for shipping.
Requirements
  • Two-year degree or equivalent experience.
  • Two or more years of related administrative experience, with experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Clear and concise communication skills, with excellent organizational and follow-up skills.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret quotes, data sheets, and sales reports.
  • Advanced knowledge of the Adobe Suite, Excel, Word, and other MS software, as well as the Global Shop order entry system.
