Job Overview

ClearSky Health is seeking a highly skilled Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our inpatient rehabilitation team. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our patients with disabling injuries and illnesses.

We offer a competitive salary of $42,000 per year, based on experience, to ensure that our CNAs are well-compensated for their hard work and dedication.

About the Role

This is a full-time position, working 40 hours per week, with opportunities for overtime and professional growth. Our ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in an inpatient hospital setting, preferably in inpatient rehabilitation. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, but not required.

The successful candidate will possess a current state CNA certification and CPR certification. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role, as you will be working closely with patients, families, and healthcare professionals. You will also need to demonstrate knowledge of current clinical operations and procedures, as well as infection prevention and proper body mechanics.

Responsibilities

As a CNA at ClearSky Health, your responsibilities will include:
  • Prioritizing and delivering basic patient care, including bathing, toileting, feeding, grooming, etc.
  • Performing and documenting vital signs, measuring and recording intake and output, weights, specimen collections, etc.
  • Transferring patients utilizing proper body mechanics and safe patient handling techniques.
  • Reporting any changes observed in condition or behavior of patient to appropriate nursing personnel.
  • Assisting in preparing unit, patient rooms, and patient beds for receiving patient admissions.
  • Maintaining bed and room in a clean, neat, safe, and comfortable manner.
  • Removing supplies and equipment not in use; placing furnishings and equipment out of the path in order to provide a safe, neat, and organized area.
