Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare meat products in salable sizes and condition for wrapping and display
  • Operate saws, grinders, and other meat processing machinery
  • Inspect and sort meat products for quality and freshness
  • Remove expired or unsold meat products from display
  • Work in a fast-paced environment to meet customer demand

Requirements:

To be successful as a Meat Cutter at Safeway, you will need to have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure. You will also need to be physically fit and able to lift heavy objects.
