Position Overview:
This role is a W2, 6-month contract-to-hire opportunity, with sponsorship for a Public Trust clearance. The onboarding process may take 4 to 6 weeks, potentially expedited for candidates with an active or inactive clearance.
This position offers a hybrid work model, requiring attendance at the client's site in Washington, D.C. twice a week.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Senior SailPoint Systems Engineer, you will be instrumental in advancing our cybersecurity and identity management initiatives. Your role will involve collaboration with external partners, including DHS CISA integrators, to deploy Identity Lifecycle Management (ILM) and Mandatory User Re-Authentication (MUR) solutions. This includes the integration of the SailPoint infrastructure with the ServiceNow environment and the maintenance of the ILM solution across various environments including development, testing, and production.
Your duties will encompass supporting ILM workflows for Privileged Account Management (PAM) tools and Active Directory (AD), establishing new system connections, and overseeing Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation (CDM) Dashboard integrations.
You will also be tasked with deploying software updates, monitoring SailPoint IdentityIQ operations, and assisting in the identification and resolution of security vulnerabilities. This role requires on-call and after-hours support, participation in annual Disaster Recovery testing, documentation of recovery plans, and providing expert recommendations for improvements. Compliance with change management processes and enhancement of reporting capabilities to ensure data integrity for CDM dashboard compliance as per DHS CISA requirements will also be essential.
Essential Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in business solutions engineering, including architectural design, engineering design, proof of concept development, and documentation.
2. Daily activities will involve identifying technology solutions that align with enterprise requirements, mapping functional needs to technological specifications, and conducting evaluations of competing solutions.
Job Role Specific Requirements:
1. SailPoint Certification: Must possess SailPoint Certified IdentityIQ Engineer certification, demonstrating advanced expertise in the SailPoint IdentityIQ platform.
2. Integrated Lifecycle Management Experience: At least three years of experience in designing and implementing integrated lifecycle management processes, particularly in support of SailPoint initiatives within large-scale enterprises.
3. SailPoint System Administration: Three years of hands-on experience with SailPoint system administration, including integration and configuration with Active Directory and HR systems.
Preferred Skills:
1. SailPoint and CyberArk Integration: Familiarity with integrating SailPoint with CyberArk for secure management of privileged accounts.
2. Connector Maintenance: Skills in troubleshooting and maintaining SailPoint connectors and integrations.
3. Active Directory Expertise: Strong knowledge of both front-end and back-end aspects of Active Directory.
4. Database Management: General knowledge of databases, particularly SQL Server 2019, including experience with backups, indexing, and troubleshooting.
