Pharmacy Technician - Outpatient Specialty

Job Summary:

We are seeking a certified pharmacy technician to join our team in the outpatient specialty pharmacy department. As a pharmacy technician, you will provide safe and appropriate pharmacy services to patients in accordance with our policies and procedures, state professional standards, and other regulatory entities.

Responsibilities:

  • Complete prior authorizations, data entry, packaging, inventory, and cashier duties
  • Provide assistance in the specialty area of the pharmacy

Requirements:

  • Formal working knowledge equivalent to an Associate's degree (2 years college)
  • Minimum one year experience
  • Registered with the Maryland board of pharmacy
  • Certified pharmacy technician
  • Prior experience with Therigy specialty system a plus
