Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Admissions Coordinator to join our team at Addiction Recovery. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the admissions process for new patients, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for all individuals seeking treatment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the intake process for new patients, including collecting demographic information and verifying insurance coverage.
- Communicate with patients, families, and referral sources to ensure a seamless transition into treatment.
- Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including electronic medical records.
- Verify patient eligibility for treatment and ensure compliance with insurance requirements.
- Collaborate with medical staff to review and sign consents for treatment.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines at all times.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1+ year of experience in medical administration or a related field.
- 1+ year of experience in verification of medical benefits.
- Familiarity with electronic medical record systems a plus.
