The Turbomachinery Specialist at Revak Keene Turbomachinery plays a crucial role in the machine shop, responsible for performing various tasks including in-house machine work, repairs, and upgrades to customer machinery. The position requires working with close tolerance equipment under supervision from experienced machinists and lead personnel.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform manual lathe and mill operations to repair and manufacture precision parts with minimal supervision.
- Assist in shop repairs and machining operations, ensuring efficient use of resources and adherence to quality standards.
- Coordinate closely with Lead Machinist, Manager, Planner, and QA/QC personnel to meet special repair requirements.
- Prepare and package components for safe shipment, adhering to industry regulations and safety protocols.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with minimal reworks or scrap parts.
- Ability to read drawings, blueprints, and precision measuring tools accurately.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in verbal and written English communication.
- Minimum 2 years of experience working around machinery, with knowledge of manufacture and assembly of close-tolerance turbo machinery components.
- Manual dexterity and ability to operate manual lathes, mills, and saws to cut stock materials efficiently.
$65,000 - $85,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
