About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Behavior Therapist to join our team at Developmental Pathways Inc. as an Autism Support Specialist.

Job Overview

The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and will be committed to providing high-quality behavioral support services in a home-based setting.

Responsibilities:
  1. Implement 1:1 behavior plans for children and adolescents with autism in their homes.
  2. Provide parent training to help families expand their child's opportunities and advance their development.
  3. Work collaboratively with Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to develop and execute tailored plans for each client.
  4. Maintain accurate records and data to inform ongoing treatment and progress monitoring.
Requirements:
  • RBT Certification is required, but not sufficient on its own. You must also meet the minimum requirements of having a valid California driver's license and reliable transportation, plus pass an FBI/DOJ clearance and background check.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is necessary, along with a genuine desire to work with young children who face behavioral challenges.
  • Comfortable playing with children and excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills are essential.
  • Bilingual applicants are preferred, especially those with experience in babysitting, childcare, or teaching.
What We Offer

Our competitive compensation package includes:

  • A starting salary of $19.00 - $21.00 per hour, based on the location and estimated hours worked.
  • Structured virtual live interactive training starting on Day 1.
  • Mileage reimbursement for travel to client homes within the Greater Dallas Area.
  • Paid sick leave and access to benefits like medical, dental, vision, and 401K, subject to eligibility.
  • Advancement opportunities, including supervision hours for Registered Behavior Technician certification and consideration for other roles within the company.
