Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision: Direct and supervise plant production employees, providing guidance and leadership to ensure the achievement of company goals and objectives.
  • Production Planning and Control: Develop and implement production plans, schedules, and procedures to ensure efficient and effective production operations.
  • Safety and Quality: Ensure a safe working environment and maintain high-quality products by implementing and enforcing safety protocols and quality control measures.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Oversee maintenance and repair activities to ensure the proper functioning of equipment and facilities.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to increase efficiency and productivity.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field preferred.
  • Experience: Two or more years of supervisory experience in a precast concrete manufacturing environment.
  • Certifications: Industry-related and DOT certifications (ACI, NPCA, VDOT) or ability to obtain certifications within a specified timeframe.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and leadership skills; solid planning and organizational skills; knowledge of industrial equipment and operations.
Working Conditions

The Production Manager will work in a production environment with ambient weather/air conditions, loud noise, and variable lighting. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required in all production areas. The position requires physical agility, including standing, sitting, walking, climbing, reaching, bending/stooping, lifting (50lbs. max), pushing/pulling (50lbs. max).
