Key Responsibilities
  • Goods Reception: Accurately receive and verify the quality and quantity of items from various delivery services.
  • Documentation Verification: Cross-check deliveries against supplier documentation, including Bill of Lading and packing slips, while inspecting for any damages.
  • Material Inspection: Open packages and dismantle pallets to ensure materials align with supplier records.
  • Inventory Management: Utilize RF systems to receive, stage, and store materials efficiently within the warehouse.
  • Discrepancy Reporting: Inform Customer Service of significant discrepancies, over-shipments, or substitutions as per company protocols.
  • Skid Wrapping: Perform skid wrapping manually and with a Stretch Wrap Machine.
  • Workplace Safety: Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Additional Duties: Carry out other warehouse-related tasks as needed.
Qualifications
  • Safety-conscious mindset.
  • Prior experience in a warehouse setting.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience or certification in operating forklifts, reach trucks, cherry pickers, and other warehouse machinery.
  • Team-oriented and self-motivated individual.
  • Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Good hand-eye coordination.
  • Ability to safely and effectively use ladders.
  • Capable of maintaining a high level of physical activity for extended periods.
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Experience with RF systems is advantageous.
  • Strong attendance and punctuality are essential.
  • Willingness to work overtime as necessary.
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Comfortable working in various weather conditions and temperatures in the warehouse and loading dock.
