Position SummaryThe Physical Therapist (PT) plays a crucial role in delivering comprehensive physical therapy services. This includes conducting assessments, creating treatment plans, and implementing therapeutic interventions in a collaborative setting that adheres to professional standards and ethical practices.
Licenses and Certifications Required:
Must possess and maintain a valid state PT license or certification. Current CPR certification is preferred.
Educational Background:
Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
Experience:
0-1 years in a relevant field.
- Perform detailed assessments to determine patients' physical conditions, functional limitations, and rehabilitation requirements.
- Design and execute individualized treatment plans that incorporate therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities aimed at enhancing patients' physical capabilities.
- Provide education to patients and their families regarding exercise techniques, body mechanics, and effective management strategies for their conditions.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes, in line with facility policies and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to deliver holistic patient care.
- Fulfill additional responsibilities as assigned.
