Facilities Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team at Cretex Medical Component and Device Technologies. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing routine repairs and maintenance on our facilities and equipment.

• Plan and execute repairs and maintenance on buildings and grounds
• Recommend improvements to increase quality and efficiency
• Perform preventative maintenance on a scheduled basis
• Assist with janitorial duties as needed
• Work independently on projects of moderate complexity
• Enter production information into our ERP system in a timely manner
• Accurately record and report hours worked
• Support and comply with our company's Quality System, ISO, and medical device requirements
• Read, understand, and follow work instructions and standard work
• Collaborate with other business segments, including sales, marketing, customer service, engineering, quality, and finance
• Understand customer needs and the core business markets we serve
• Ensure business systems are implemented, maintained, and functioning properly
• Participate in required company meetings
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Participate in our Operational Excellence Program
• Complete all other work duties as assigned

• 1 year of experience in a related field
• Self-motivated and capable of working in a team environment with minimal supervision
• Ability to read, comprehend, follow, and document work instructions, standard operating procedures, and training documents
• Mechanical aptitude
• Dexterity and hand and eye coordination
• Attention to detail
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to prioritize work and manage multiple tasks
• Ability to collaborate and assist team members, provide input to the area lead, and attend and participate in meetings
• Ability to cross-train in other areas of production when required
• Microsoft Office proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher)
• Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills
• Organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
• Ability to prioritize and multitask
