Washington Water Service is seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Utility Worker. This role is responsible for performing field operations and maintenance work, as well as providing relief work under various classifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform field operations and maintenance work, including cleaning and repairing reservoirs, flushing and servicing water mains, and cleaning, locating, changing, and replacing meters and boxes and covers.
  • Provide relief work under various classifications, including operating system valves as required and notifying customers for shut-downs.
  • Perform general clean-up of grounds and facilities, and assist in setting, replacing, or removing meters.
  • Participate in and support the Company's Continuous Improvement program and projects.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Construction or plumbing experience equivalent to a laborer or apprentice.
  • Water Utility experience desired.
  • Valid Washington State Driver's License.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications.
  • First Aid Card (required within one year of employment).

Salary Range: $41,600 - $68,700
