Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Presentation: Prepare and present all menu items in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Station Management: Efficiently manage your station during your shift, ensuring a smooth and seamless experience for our customers.
  • Safety and Sanitation: Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all health and safety protocols.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate various equipment, including the POS system, proofing oven, baking oven, slicer, and dishwashing equipment.
Requirements
  • Education: Currently enrolled as a full-time student at Grand Canyon University, pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree.
  • Academic Standing: Maintain a minimum GPA of 2.0 for Bachelor's students or 3.0 for Master's students.
  • Financial Standing: Maintain good financial standing with the university.
Physical Demands
  • Standing and Walking: 4-8 hours per day.
  • Lifting and Carrying: Occasionally.
  • Pushing and Bending: Occasionally.
  • Reaching and Grasping: Frequently.
Work Environment

Our cafe is a fast-paced environment, primarily indoors, with variations in temperature.
